The two-bedroom chalet comprises a bedroom with a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, fan and air-conditioning, and a second bedroom located in the loft with twin beds, a fan and en-suite. The living room is cooled by a fan and consists of lounge and fully equipped kitchen. A large verandah is furnished with outdoor seating and a table, and an outdoor shower is provided for those hot days. A Weber barbecue is available, with all linen provided.

Chalet 7 • 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom • 4 sleeper
Comprising two bedrooms, both fitted with queen-size beds, en-suite bathrooms and fans. The central living area consists of an open-plan fully equipped kitchen and lounge. The living room opens onto a large verandah complete with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining, and an outdoor shower located just off the deck. A Weber barbecue is available, with all linen provided.

Villa 32 • 4 Bedroom 4 Bathroom • 8 sleeper
The four-bedroom house comprises two living areas. The main house features two bedrooms fitted with a queen-size bed and twin beds respectively, both have fans and en-suite bathrooms. A timber walkway joins the main house to a second living area, offering two additional bedrooms fitted with a queen-size and twin beds respectively. The rooms have the same facilities, and if the weather gets a little too hot, there is also an outdoor shower. Ceiling fans are positioned above the central living area comprising open-plan, fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room. A large verandah is located off the central living area, which has outdoor lounge furniture and opens onto views of the wetlands. A Weber barbecue is available, with all linen provided.

Mozambique has a predominantly tropical climate, with a cool season from May to July. The rainy season is from November to April.

Malaria
The malaria risk in Southern Mozambique has been drastically reduced and is now relatively low, although there is still some risk. The risk is higher in the summer/wet season. The risk also depends on age and health; and children under 12, pregnant woman and elderly people are at higher risk, as are people with impaired immune system. If you are travelling with any of the above in the group, it may be advisable to speak to a travel doctor. Preventing the mosquito bite is the best precaution against malaria, so make sure you take and frequently reapply an insect repellent. Most bites occur at dawn, dusk and early evenings, so be extra vigilant at these times.

Money
The local currency is called Meticals (mt). For the best exchange rate it is advisable to go to a Mozambique bank when in Mozambique or exchange prior to your visit. But South African Rands and Dollars are also widely accepted.
