The Ranch started out as a single building back in 1900 and has since been rebuilt in 1988. The ranch is on a plot of land that spans around 935 hectares with the Mooi River running through the farm. The ranch is an ideal getaway destination whether you are looking for peace and quiet with the family, conferencing and team building facilities or wedding facilities.

Accommodation
There are 5 types of accommodation available including hotel rooms, chalets, Rondavels, honeymoon suite and the bunk house. There are 16 hotel rooms which are in the main building. They can accommodate between 2 and 5 people sharing. The hotel rooms have en-suite bathrooms with views of the resort grounds and some of the rooms have verandas.

There are 22 chalets which also have en-suite facilities. They are ideal for families as they can sleep between 4 and 6 people.
There are 8 Rondavels which have en-suite facilities and can sleep two people each. The honeymoon suite also has en-suite facilities as well as a Jacuzzi bath.
The bunk house is ideal for family get together and school groups. There are 10 rooms in total with 4 beds in each room. The bunk house has 3 bathrooms with a bath and toilet. Each room consists of two single beds and an up and down bunk bed. Between five rooms there are three baths and three toilets.

All team-building events are carried out by qualified facilitators, whose experience and qualifications allow you to have a customized team building experience. Sierra Ranch Saloon Bar probably boasts some of the best parties in the Southern Hemisphere. Music to suit all tastes, which encourages old & young to let their hair down and enjoy themselves. The extension of the Saloon Bar has 2 pool & snooker tables, dart boards & TV.

Take the Mooi River North Toll off ramp and turn left. Turn right into Nottingham Road. Take the next bridge on the right and drive for about 14 km. The road to Sierra Ranch will be on your right.
From JHB:
Take the Mooi River South Toll off ramp. Turn right and go over the bridge. Turn right into Nottingham Road. Take the next bridge on the right and drive for about 14 km. The road to Sierra Ranch will be on your right.
