Our spacious Suite offers great comfort and privacy. It features a large bedroom with an extra length king size bed and a comfortable down duvet. Both the bedroom and separate dressing area have large retractable doors to maximise the view of the Lebombo Mountains.

The luxurious bathroom with a freestanding bath leads out into a private garden with an outside shower, while the living area has a separate guest bathroom. Executive Rooms have been designed to maximise comfort with carefully selected fabrics, furnishings and linen. All rooms look out over the rolling lawns and stretch of water that runs in front of the hotel towards the soaring Lebombo Mountains and Ghost Mountain.

Well lit bathrooms have separate bath and shower. For business guests the desks are large to allow more workspace. Rooms have twin or king sized beds. Our Garden Rooms are ideal for those needing more space and comfort. These are generously sized Superior Rooms featuring flat screen televisions, a pull-out sofa and lounge area.

The open plan bathroom has a separate toilet area and large shower. Private patios overlook the indigenous garden or the pool. King or three quarter twin beds are offered with fold out sofas.
The original rooms of the hotel provide comfortable accommodation with private patios that face either parts of the garden or courtyard. Bathrooms feature combined shower and bath. Seasonal Menus with local ingredients are combined with traditional favourites and served either in the Dining Room, outdoors on the terrace or under the stars in the traditional Boma.

NDUMU A & B

Rebuilt in 2009, this is an ideal room for a private all-day event, from meetings to dinner parties. It's private foyer, patio and courtyard with cascading water feature provides a space for coffee breaks and cocktails or outdoor gatherings. This room is equipped with automatic drop-down screen, projector, built-in sound system and roving microphone for audiovisual presentations.

TSHANENI ROOM

The Tshaneni Boardroom is our smallest private room, seating up to 8 people. Can host all-day executive meetings

MTWAZI ROOM

The former Ladies bar of the hotel, situated off the lobby. Ideal for smaller meetings, social gatherings and private dining

GAME SAFARIS

HLUHLUWE GAME DRIVE

The oldest game park in Africa (along with nearby St Lucia), this reserve was proclaimed to prevent the white rhino from becoming extinct. Eighty species of mammal (including the big five) and in excess of 300 species of birds are supported in this 96 000 ha reserve.

LAKE JOZINI BOAT CRUISES & TIGER FISHING

Lake Jozini lies in a dramatic setting at the foot of the Lebombo Mountains and is one of South Africa's largest dams. There are several exquisite gorges which abound with cycads and a wide variety of birds.

On the western side of the dam one might see elephant, rhino, hippo and crocodile. The 13 varieties of fish found in the dam include tilapia, catfish, mud fish, carp and the sought after tiger fish. A catch and release policy for the tigers is promoted and anglers are encouraged to retain only one trophy fish each per day, releasing the live smaller ones.

A walk in the fig forest is an awesome experience for both birder and those interested in nature.

SCENIC DRIVE

A leisurely drive up the Ubombo Mountains through some extremely attractive scenery with views of Jozini dam experiencing rural Africa as it is today.

If the drive is arranged in the evening, sundowners up here should not be missed.

MYENI CULTURAL EXPERIENCE

This is a truly unique and authentic experience and includes a visit to a local homestead interacting with members of the Myeni family.

With prior arrangement one can also experience a visit to a Sangoma with a bone reading if desired, Stick fighting, and/or a sampling of traditional food and drink. Finish the experience with a drive through the Lebombo Mountains taking in some of the areas magnificent views and rural life happening around you.
